E-commerce website & webshop development from €5,750

An e-commerce website without surprises: one fixed price from €5,750, built in Rotterdam by a single maker — not an agency. Product management through a CMS, payments including iDEAL, and up to five languages, so your webshop is ready to sell from day one. Prefer to spread the cost? That works too: from €329 a month.

Webshop development: what's included

At MAAS·studios, a webshop falls under the custom package: from €5,750, excluding 21% VAT, with one fixed price agreed up front. No hourly billing, no surprise extras — you know exactly what you pay and what you get before the build starts. Included as standard:

All packages and prices are listed on the pricing overview.

Why not just use Shopify?

Shopify looks cheap to start: Basic is €28 a month (€21/month billed annually), Grow is €78 a month — plus 1.9% + €0.25 per card transaction and €0.29 per iDEAL payment. That is not a one-off investment but a subscription with no end date: you keep paying for as long as the shop exists, on top of a percentage of every sale, and the shop always remains Shopify's property — you rent a platform and a theme, you own nothing. A custom design, extra apps or a CRM integration are billed on top, every month.

At MAAS·studios you buy the shop: €5,750 one-off, or spread the cost through the webshop subscription at €329 a month for 24 months — after that it is yours, with no platform fee and no cut of your sales. You only pay your payment provider's normal rate, not Shopify's markup on top of it.

Speed is conversion

A slow e-commerce website sells poorly: visitors drop off before checkout and Google ranks sluggish pages lower. That's why I build every webshop with a target of Lighthouse scores of 90+ for speed, SEO and accessibility — measurable, not a marketing claim. Lean code, optimised images and mobile-first design, because many of your customers shop on their phone.

Secure, GDPR-aware and honest

Your webshop handles customer data: names, addresses, orders. I set that up with the GDPR in mind — encrypted traffic (HTTPS/SSL), only the data needed for ordering and shipping, and clear privacy information for your customers.

Just as important: no fake scarcity and no invented reviews. Phoney counters ("only 2 left in stock!") and bought stars are misleading and not allowed. What your shop shows is true — and that is exactly what builds the trust an online store lives on.

Integrations: payments, calendar, CRM & APIs

A webshop rarely stands alone. Where needed, I connect your shop to the systems you already use:

Because I build custom rather than from templates, your process defines the integration — not the other way around.

From practice: Kozynofferte

An honest example: kozynofferte.nl is not a classic webshop but a quoting SaaS I built entirely myself. It does, however, contain exactly the building blocks e-commerce runs on: product selection, quote and order flows, and a process that guides visitors step by step towards a request.

I call it what it is — a quoting platform, not a webshop. You'll find all seven of my live projects, from estate agency to SaaS, in the portfolio.

Process, payment & ownership

Every webshop follows the same fixed way of working:
